Phone-hacking Trial - Andy Coulson's Mitigation Plea

Yesterday, mitigation pleas were entered for Greg Miskiw, Glenn Mulcaire, James Weatherup, and Clive Goodman who had all pleaded guilty, prior to this trial, to a charge of conspiracy to intercept voicemail. 

Today, it is expected that Andy Coulson's mitigation plea will be heard. Last week, a Jury found Andy Coulson guilty of conspiracy to intercept voicemail.

The CPS said yesterday that Andy Coulson and Clive Goodman will be retried on the charges of alleged illegal payments at a date to be announced.

Dan Evans has had his sentencing delayed because of potential charges being brought against more journalists.
